  1. I really wonder which of this photos were taken in autumn and which ones in spring. Sometimes the blossoms give hints, sometimes not so.
However, it's nice to see you are still taking photographs ;-)

    1. Thanks Martina :) you can't say because the weather is just mad, and unfortunately my blog follows a strict chronology and I never publish photos that I took in the past :)

To be fair I'm only half happy with this set, maybe my eyes were tired, maybe I had a lack of imagination, or maybe I just have a craving for cities! :)

Sometimes I start seeing only the coulors of the things that I'm taking the photo of..

Maybe I should switch for a while to B&W? You are the expert in that, so you should say :)

  2. Yes, I almost thought so, i.e. that it must be chronological and current. Because of the Forsythyia in "Yellow&Green and is brother Red&Green" I thought it must be spring ... until I came to "thewindowsareclosed" - this is defintely autumn, grin.
Strange walk you took - crossing the seasons.
However - it made me think and ponder, so ...
    an interesting compilation.
At this time of year it's hard to see in b/w because of all the yellows and pinks that are attacking my eyes ;-). Fortunately spring has come to this place last week. Yay!

    1. :) happy you find something interesting in the set :)

About B&W, I have to say that's ages that I don't work with that. Since I bought my digital SLR I almost forgot about B&W and I was overtaken by coulors. Before that I was using an old minolta with a 50 mm lense. That was it. I remember buying the B&W film.. it was so different.. I guess it's all about you see what's around you in this precise time. Maybe I'm fading to gray lately..

But it's strange that despite that, your best pic for me at the moment is this one: "Wherever you go, I said, I’ll follow you". There's something about the red&blue contrast and the whole geometry of the thing that I really like. So simple but so perfect cut, all in balance. Makes me think that "I would really follow" if that was the choice. The picture is really liften up by the words, and they just merge somewhere nice :)

  3. Grin, I started with a Minolta slr, too. Shooting b/w was kind of cool in these days, looked more professional ;-). Colour was for the vacation shots of our parents. Developing happened in the bedroom with the shutters down. Ah, yes.

The red rail photo wouldn't have worked in b/w. Besides some other things I am reading 1Q84 in the German translation right now and the photo was clearly inspired by the novel.

Thank you! You should better not follow, btw, since the steps lead to the autobahn, ;-)
